Days 88 through 94 - 13 January 2011 through 19 January 2011

Day 88 - 13 January 2011
Our plant needs dusting - and I didn't realise it until after I saw this come out!

Day 89 - 14 January 2011
Sunset at Finsbury Park with the storm clouds gathering over London:

Day 90 -15 January 2011
Cocktails!  I don't need to say much more!

Day 91 - 16 January 2011
Spices - it was another picture at home this evening, and the spice rack inspired me:

Day 92 - 17 January 2011
On David Rowing's recommendation we tried this beer.  It was rather nice and light:

Day 93 - 18 January 2011
Sunrise over New Barnet:

Day 94 - 19 January 2011
Cool purple plant I saw in central London:

Days 81 through 87 - Still catching up - 6 January 2011 through 12 January 2011

6 January 2011
So that fabulous Neal's Yard has a fabulous hair salon called Hair by Fairy - I took this after getting my hair cut:

7 January 2011
I treated myself - it was a bad day, which had a moment of yummy goodness:

8 January 2011
Dan happily finished off the bottle of wine with dinner. To clarify, this isn't a common occurence - I don't want to slight his character.  ;)

9 January 2011
I took a trip to Welwyn Garden City to see what their shops were like.  I don't feel the need to return.  But they do have this little memorial to the founder of the city:

10 January 2011
St Pancras Station again, with the Eurostar train on the left.  I want to get on that soon.

11 January 2011
Kings Cross Station is right next to St Pancras, and appears rather less impressive:

12 January 2011
Westfield Shopping Centre without the shoppers. This was taken late at night after Heidi and I went to view The King's Speech - amazing film.

Wednesday 19 January 2011

Days 74 through to 80 - Catching up - 30 December 2010 through 5 January 2011

Day 74 - 30 December 2010 - Tree
I found this tree rather fascinating with it's cones and seeds and whatnot - but struggled with the focus as the branches were moving in the wind.

Day 75 - 31 December 2010 - Magnets
So these magnets sum up the madness of this household.  The one closest was a gift I received from Sarah.  It fits.

Day 76 - 1 January 2011 - Parkland
As a young teen this area was quite the hangout.  I always get crazy memories when I go back there!

Day 77 - 2 January 2011 - Swan
I went to Enfield to get in some sale shopping, but before getting to the shops I stopped off at the little river just outside the town centre:

Day 78 - 3 January 2010 - Neal's Yard
Heidi and I went into Covent Garden on the Bank Holiday - this is the incredibly coloured Neal's Yard:

Day 79 - 4 January 2011 - Hotel Russell
It was back to work on the 4th - and thus back to the usual area around work for photos. This is the Hotel Russell:

Day 80 - 5 January 2011 -New Shoes
After searching around New Look for a new pair of black shoes, and trying many pairs on, these were so comfortable I just had to get them!

Thursday 6 January 2011

Days 72 & 73 - Views from London Bridge and Greenwich - 28 & 29 December 2010

This here is one of my personal favourites from this project so far; it's the view from London Bridge at night:

And then this one is taken from the Greenwich Observatory - using the great panorama function on my camera:

Tuesday 4 January 2011

Days 70 & 71 - Enfield and Sushi - 26 & 27 December 2010

So I wonder how many people who either live in or regularly go to Enfield town centre notice this little alley - I certainly never have before, but this project has made me a whole lot more observant as I look for opportunities like this:

On the 27th Heidi and I went for some of my favourite food - sushi! It was a lovely place, and I took the oppotunity to get a more colourful photo than normal:

Days 68 & 69 - Chimay and M25 - 24 & 25 December 2010

This is one of my all time favourite beers.  The photo actually took a while to take - not getting myself reflected in the bottle, and wanting to avoid a flash reflection meant I had to put it on long exposure, and a self timer then run away from the camera! It worked though:

Then travelling home on the 25th, I managed to get this shot of the M25 at my flatmate and chauffeur's suggestion:
