I work fairly near this building/tower, so on my way to Oxford Street during my lunch break today (not buying anything terribly interesting, unfortunately), I decided that it was worthy of a photo.
Following Rebecca's point I love the way you've captured the Tower within the curve of the lamppost ... the Post Office Tower, as it was called when it was opened in the mid-sixties, was the tallest building in London. It had a revolving restaurant at the top and was open to the public. I was in my teens at the time and can remember visiting it and going to the top.
Nicely framed Mel. The Old BT Tower, once upon a time you could go all the way to the top as a visitor. If I recall correctly, my mother did once.
