I was 'chatting' online with my sister Sharon yesterday, as I posted my photo of the day. My nephew Joe (aged 14) was peering over her shoulder and saw the photo. His comment went along the lines of 'is that the slot where you post letters?'

ReplyDeleteNot having lived in the UK for some time this is new to me. Is there another slot for 'unstamped mail'? Isn't all mail stamped? Presumably it doesn't mean you have to jump up and down on it first! :P
ReplyDeleteIn London I've noticed we have 'Stamped Mail' and 'Franked Mail'. First place I've seen it not in an office complex.
